Awareness is very important in detecting the slippery behaviors of high achievers. I would say, asking questions like, where is this sense or spirit of competitiveness coming from? What is the purpose of going after this goal? Is it coming from a good happy space or fear it coming from a fear-based space?

It's easy to get caught up on the path of Achievement. Before we know it, we become hyper-achiever who wants to achieve more and more without ever reaching the satisfaction that accompanies achievement. I work with high achievers who set the bar so high they can't even see their own achievements, much less how to achieve what they really want. I help them get out of their own ways, identify their saboteur, learn how to change their behaviors so they can do less and accomplish more, and feel great on the way.

In today's episode, we will discuss the hyper-achiever saboteur's key traits and habits and how they frequently derail our efforts to achieve success and happiness. This episode is based on the work of positive intelligence by shirzad Chamaine as well as my experience as a mental fitness coach in cultivating a more conscious and happy achiever.

In this episode we discuss:

  • How to know if you have a hyper-achiever saboteur

  • Strengths of the hyper-achiever

  • Managing the hyper-achiever saboteur's lies and promises

  • How High-achievers fail

  • Powerful things high achievers do to achieve greatness and intercept saboteur.

Because high achievers are so goal -oriented and want to sprint to achieve goals instead of developing a marathon mindset and building momentum with small actions, they lose their patience and ability to follow through.
